It is recommended to clean the furniture regularly to ensure an optimal lifespan. It is also advisable to impregnate your furniture once a year after cleaning with the specially developed Sunbrella spray, available from your dealer.

With modular systems, the modules should always be placed at least 1 cm apart so that any rainwater can drain off your furniture properly. This also prevents any deposits on the sides of the modules. It is also advisable not to place the furniture against a wall or fence or something similar. This promotes drainage and drying of the lounge benches. Furthermore, it is better not to turn the furniture upside down when it rains because then the water will remain in the benches.

If a stain should appear on your sofa, you can easily remove it before it penetrates. This can be done by simply vacuuming up the dirt or wiping it off with a clean, damp cloth. First absorb moisture stains with a paper towel or a clean tea towel. Then always rinse with clean water and dry with a clean (tea) towel. You should remove stains of all kinds as soon as possible so that the stain does not penetrate the fabric. Most stains can be removed by treating them with hot water. Then dry with a dry, clean cloth. For stubborn stains, we recommend the cleaner specially developed by Sunbrella, available from your dealer.

You spray the cleaner concerned on the stains and let it soak in for 30 seconds. After this you can remove the stain with warm water and a clean, soft sponge. It is important that you rinse well with water after using the cleaner so that all soap residue is removed. Sunscreens and oils are difficult or even impossible to remove from the furniture, pay attention to this when using the furniture. It is best to place a towel on the element during use of the element if you have used sunscreens and oils.

To increase the lifespan of our products, we recommend that you use protective covers for your Design2Chill furniture. If the weather permits, remove the covers and let your Design2Chill product air out for about 30 minutes. Also during the winter period when you are not using the furniture.

All our decorative cushions are resistant to rain. However, we advise you to bring the decorative cushions inside during bad periods.

We advise to clean and impregnate the stainless steel parts with a stainless steel cleaner/impregnator before the start of the winter period. This is to prevent any dirt in the moving parts ((Sunbeam/Sunlounger/Twist) and to protect the surface of the material.
